Mumbai, Artist Rajan Raghavan is set to unveil his solo painting exhibition, “FORCE,” at the prestigious Jehangir Art Gallery from February 3 to 9, 2025. The exhibition, which explores the symbolism of horses in art, will be inaugurated by Shri Vishwas M. Attavar, President of Reliance Industries Limited, on February 3 at 5 PM.
“FORCE” delves into the power, movement, and timeless connection between humans and horses. Through a series of striking acrylic paintings, Raghavan portrays horses not just as majestic creatures but as symbols of raw energy, human ambition, and the untamed spirit. His works capture the evolving role of horses in art, from historical dominance to modern reflections on control and freedom.
Raghavan, a seasoned artist with a National Diploma in Fine Arts from R.V. Institute of Fine Arts, Kerala, has held multiple solo and group exhibitions across Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore. His artistic journey spans over three decades, earning him a reputation for thought-provoking and emotionally resonant works.
Visitors can experience the exhibition daily from 11 AM to 7 PM at Jehangir Art Gallery, 161-B, M.G. Road, Mumbai. Art enthusiasts, collectors, and critics alike are invited to witness Raghavan’s compelling visual narrative and engage with his dynamic portrayal of equine strength and grace.
