തലയുയർത്തി പലരും നോക്കിയിരുന്നു
ചെറിയൊരിളം കാറ്റിൽ
കാൽ തെന്നി
നിലത്ത് വീണു
ചീറിപ്പായുന്ന ചില വണ്ടികൾ
മെയ്യിലൂടെ കടന്നുപോയി
ചാറ്റൽ മഴക്കവരെന്നെ
വിട്ടുകൊടുത്തു
ചിലർ ചവിട്ടിയരച്ചു
ചെമ്പരത്തി എൻ ഹൃദയമായിരുന്നു
ഒരു ഇടിവെട്ടിയുണ്ടായ
കൂനിനടിയിൽ
പതുങ്ങിയിരുന്നു
ഉണങ്ങിയ ഇതളുകൾ
വീണ്ടും ആകാശത്തേക്ക്
പാറിപ്പറന്നു.
