രണ്ടുപേർ മാത്രമറിയും പ്രണയം
എത്രകോടിയുണ്ടാകും ഭൂമിയിൽ!
അവർ നനയ്ക്കും ചെടികൾ
പൂക്കുമ്പോൾ അതിൽ ആരുമറിയാതെ
അവരുടെ വിഷാദം അഴകു കൂട്ടുന്നുണ്ടാവണം
അവർ വിളയിക്കും ഫലങ്ങളിലെ
കയ്പും മധുരമാകുന്നുണ്ടാകണം
ഏതു പാട്ടിലുമവർ
അതേ ആനന്ദശോകം
കേൾക്കുന്നുണ്ടാകണം;
ചില്ലയിലെ കിളിയൊച്ചകളിൽ
ഉൾപ്പേച്ചുകളുടെ പൊരുളാകണം
കൊല്ലും കൊലയുമായ് ലോക
മുരുകിടുമ്പോഴും ആ നിലവിളികൾ
പ്രണയികളുടെ കണ്ണീരിൽ ഊറുന്നുണ്ടാവണം
ഈവിധം രഹസ്യത്തിൻ നിത്യ
സംവേദമാകണം കലകളിൽ
വിതുമ്പിനിൽക്കുന്നതെപ്പോഴും…
